Hurricane Lily Hits

We will start out with a few before and after for Hurricane Lily.  Check out the beautiful yellow Angel's Trumpet.

 

After Lily here is the same tree blown over.  It did attempt a comeback in the summer of 2003, but never came anywhere near the picture above.

This is the lush left rear corner of the property.

Really cool variegated Orange show variegation on both the leaves and fruit.

Great climbing rose named Cornelia

Fantastic Australian Tree Fern in Tropical Corner.  It was almost 6 feet across.

The Thai Caladiums are now lost.

These variegated Ginger die back every winter, but continue to spread and grow each summer/

Here is tropical corner with a nice patch of Papaya.

An unusual plant called a Bat Plant

This night blooming Cereus makes quit a show all summer, but you have to go out at night to see this 8" bloom which will be gone by morning.

Really cool looking Hibiscus

The famous Naked Lady

Clematis are tough in our climate, but this one managed a few blooms.

Did I tell you that Naked Ladies come in yellow also.

Well that's it.  What can I say, it's under construction.
